Wow..! It's been a long time since I blogged. Now I'm back in Dubai again; have found some peace at least for a little while.
As predicted, life has taken its twists and turns.
After my last blog, quite a few things have taken place.
I participated in the district level English story writing competition. Even though, I had no hope of getting anything, I was surprised at the last minute.
This competition was conducted by THE VENAD SAHODAYA. For those who don't know, Sahodaya is an organization. In here, it is an organization of a group of schools from the southern part of Kerala.
I participated in this competition, full of confidence.
I did some preparation for it as well; I referred some books from our school library, went through some core points & googled some topics to practice.
After the competition had ended, I was sure that I wouldn't even secure a third position. But, when the results were announced, I was surprised to find that I had secured the first position in the competition, in the whole district.
I later participated in the state level where I secured an 'A' grade.
All this gained me recognition in my new school. Moreover, I had secured the second position in the science exhibit.
All this added up and made me popular among the students and teachers.
My second terminal exams just got over. I have come to Dubai to meet my dad and my relatives - cousins etc.
I had a wonderful time at the Dubai shopping festival; I escpecially enjoyed the time with my cousins. They really showed their full spirit.
Now I'm at my father's office typing this blog from his new iPad 4.
Sorry for showing off ;)
Is my life taking a better turn? I don't know.
There is more to prove my mettle.
