When the light goes out,
And the storm comes around,
The wrethched winds break,
Through the dying flames.
The sun no longer visible,
The blues dripping through the walls,
The painful mind becomes admissible,
When the aching heart emerges into squalls.
The skies begin to bloat,
As the massive clouds float,
Dulling out dreams of happiness,
Pouring into the ground.
The fields of grass dance in perplexion,
As the clouds burst into tears,
The insight in mind bears subjection,
As it closes down onto its fears.
The echoing winds speak out,
Through the unholy noise of retrospection,
To question the lonesome heart,
On its rationale of forlone dejection.
"Oh why ye human?" asked the breeze,
"Why art thou heartbroken?" It said,
"Your gift of life should not be in vain".
"Release all crestfallen thoughts of constrain",
"Let not your agony be unspoken".
The heart felt a sudden pull,
It looked up into the sky,
Reflecting on its abysmal soul,
Tears drained down from its eye.
"Infuse the light into your soul", said the breeze,
"Forsake memories that matter no more",
"For life is full of joy to find and fulfill",
"Love and be loved with a heart of good will".
When the light goes out,
Merely close your eyes,
Gaze at the sun within,
As the golden rays arise.
Heave your heart out of empty sorrow,
Bring it to the light,
Feel the warmth of the charming blithe,
And worry not about the infinte morrow.
For the world is full of a million hopes,
And each hope fuelled by one another,
Let there not be pitiful gloom,
Through the hatred of each other.
As the storm recedes and the light comes out,
The voids bloom with peaceful sprout,
The trees sway to the ode of bliss,
And I walk into eternal reminisce,
And I walk into eternal reminisce.
